TROY, Mich., February 23, 2023 – Algo, a leading supply chain planning and intelligence SaaS solutions provider, today announced that Wayne Sim has been appointed to its Co-CEO, working alongside Amjad Hussain, Co-CEO and Founder of Algo.
Wayne is the co-founder of Tauri, a leading supply chain management company, and has over 30 years of experience bringing innovative commercial software solutions to market. He has successfully led go-to-market and growth strategies at several companies, including as the Founder and CEO of Aucerna, which was acquired by Thoma Bravo in 2019 and subsequently merged with Quorum Software in 2021.
Amjad founded Algo in 2008, and has grown the company to 200 people globally. Under Amjad’s leadership, Algo established many enterprise customer relationships, including Microsoft, Best Buy, Disney, Tesco and Meta. Amjad completed his Bachelors in Electrical & Communications Engineering with Honors from UET Lahore, Pakistan. He earned his Master’s degree in Control Systems & Software Engineering from UMIST, in the United Kingdom with an ML/Cybernetics focus, and an Advanced Analytics themed MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
